The "Mobile Connector" Trap

Living Life at
3 Miles Per Hour.

You didn't buy a high-performance EV to leave it plugged into a standard 110V wall outlet for 3 days just to get a full battery. This is known as "Trickle Charging" (Level 1).

The Reality: Relying on a standard outlet creates "Range Anxiety." If you drive more than 30 miles a day, you will never catch up. You start every day with less range than the day before.

Charge Time: 48+ Hours (0-100%)
The Level 2 Upgrade

Wake Up Ready.
Full Tank. Every Morning.

Unlock the true potential of your vehicle. We install dedicated 240-Volt Level 2 Stations that pump power up to 10x faster than a standard outlet.

Whether it's a Tesla Wall Connector, a ChargePoint, or a NEMA 14-50 Outlet, Bleuwave handles the load calculations, permitting, and heavy-gauge wiring to ensure your home doesn't go dark when you plug in.

High-Voltage Knowledge

Stop the Trickle Charge.

Why a standard outlet takes 3 days to charge your Rivian, and how we get that down to 6 hours safely.

Charging Speed

The difference is days vs. hours. A standard wall outlet (Level 1) adds only 3–5 miles of range per hour. A dedicated Level 2 station (240V) adds 30–60 miles per hour, fully charging most EVs while you sleep.

Not necessarily. While the Tesla Wall Connector is best for Teslas, universal chargers like ChargePoint or Wallbox use the standard J1772 plug that fits Ford, Rivian, BMW, and more (and Teslas with an adapter).

Yes. Most modern EV chargers are NEMA-4 rated, meaning they are weather-tight against rain, snow, and dust. We use specialized liquid-tight conduit for outdoor runs to ensure safety.

Electrical Load

It depends. EV chargers draw a massive continuous load (32A to 48A). We perform a Load Calculation on your existing panel. If you are maxed out, we may recommend a "Heavy Up" (Panel Upgrade) or a Load Management Device.

Hardwired is safer and faster. A plug-in unit (NEMA 14-50) is often limited to 40 amps and requires an expensive GFCI breaker. Hardwiring allows for full 48-amp charging speeds and fewer failure points.

EV chargers run high voltage for hours at a time. A permit ensures the wire gauge, breaker size, and torque settings meet National Electric Code (NEC) standards, preventing fire risks and voided insurance policies.
